Tad Craig is a licensed Realtor with over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. A third-generation realtor and auctioneer, Tad is proud to continue the legacy of Craig & Wheeler Realty and Auction, a family-founded business established by his father, David Craig, and grandfather, Auburn Wheeler.

After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Tad began his career in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he spent five years in new home sales, setting regional sales records. In 1999, he returned home to Tennessee and rejoined the family business—where he remains deeply rooted today. Tad is now a partner in the firm alongside his brother, Ben Craig, also a licensed Realtor.

Tad’s dedication to real estate extends into his family. His son, Stone Craig, recently earned his real estate license and joined Craig & Wheeler, while his daughter, Mackenzie, runs a successful aesthetics business in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Tad is married to Carissa Craig, a licensed professional and owner of The Chair Salon at 1803. Together, they share a blended family with stepchildren Leah, Parker, and Blake.

An avid outdoorsman, Tad enjoys hunting, fly fishing, and sports of all kinds. He’s hunted moose in Alaska, elk in New Mexico, and whitetail deer with a bow, and has even caught marlin off the coast of Cabo San Lucas. He’s a lifelong fan of the Tennessee Vols, the Tennessee Titans, and the Atlanta Braves.
