Michael was born in Lincoln County and raised in Shelbyville. He is the son of Albert and Connie Cook of Shelbyville. He graduated from Shelbyville Central High School in 1997. Michael then went to MTSU where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He has been employed as a Transportation Manager with Goggin Warehousing since July of 2015. Michael is an active member of Southside Church of Christ, where he currently serves as the deacon over missions. Michael met his wife, Jennifer Allen of Shelbyville on a mission trip to Mexico. Michael and Jennifer have one child, Caroline. Michael enjoys being an active member of the Masonic lodge and enjoys spending time with his family. He received his real estate license in 2006.
