David Craig

David was born the second of six children in Lewisburg, TN and was raised on the fifth generation family farm located near Belfast, TN. He graduated from Marshall County Senior High and received a Bachelor’s degree in Agri-Business from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

After graduating from University of Tennessee in 1970, David received his commission in the U.S. Army and went on active duty serving an overseas tour in The Republic of South Korea. After military service in the Army, David returned home to Shelbyville and obtained his Tennessee Real Estate license. In 1973, David and his father-in-law, Auburn Wheeler, opened their real estate office serving Shelbyville, Bedford County, and Southern Middle Tennessee.

David is Principal Broker and owner of Craig & Wheeler Realty and Auction, LLC, a licensed auctioneer with the firm, and also licensed Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser with the company.

David is married to Belinda Wheeler Craig, the late Auburn Wheeler’s daughter, who is also an agent with the company. David and Belinda have two sons, Tad and Ben who also sell real estate with Craig & Wheeler.

He is a past Directors of the Middle Tennessee Better Business Bureau, a Past President of Shelbyville – Bedford County Chamber of Commerce, a Past President of Shelbyville Lions Club, and an active member and Elder of The First Presbyterian Church, Shelbyville.
