Cindy C. Barnes

Cindy Crowell Barnes was born and raised in Shelbyville, Tennessee (or better known as SHOVEL).  She graduated from Central High School in 1980; attended Motlow State Community College and received an Associate of Science Degree; attended Middle Tennessee State University and received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administration and Marketing in 1985.  Upon graduation, she worked for a Japanese company, Marubeni, in Nashville which was affiliated with Nissan and the automotive industry.  She was in Sales and Customer Support for them for almost eleven years.  She decided to pursue her love of Real Estate and obtain her license.  She was employed with Coldwell Banker in Nashville and attended their “Fast Start Training Program”.  She sold real estate in Nashville area, but focused on Mount Juliet, Donelson, Hermitage, and Brentwood for several years.    She took a leave from selling real estate to have children.  In the meantime, she and her husband, Don, decided to return to Shelbyville to be near family and friends and raise their children.  Once the children were all in school, she wanted to continue her real estate career, but this time in Shelbyville, where she has been selling for a few years.  She has now joined our firm of Craig and Wheeler which are like family to her.  Her father and Mr. Wheeler owned a business together many years ago prior to Mr. Wheeler opening this Real Estate business.
Cindy is the wife of Donald D. Barnes, Jr. (better known to many people as Buzzy).  They have three children:  a daughter who is sixteen, a son who is nine and another who is eleven.  She is very active at Fairhaven Baptist Church where she serves on the Children’s Committee and Women’s Ministry Team.  She is a member of the Middle Tennessee Realtors Association, PTO Treasurer for Eakin School for three years, and officer for her son’s Cub Scouts troop. 
Cindy has a LOVE for “Helping People”!  She truly “ENJOYS” helping people find the “HOUSE” they can make into a “HOME” with their family.  She likes to live her life by the GOLDEN RULE:  “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you!”  Matthew 7: 12
