A Giles County native, Josh is a 1994 graduate of Giles County High School.  He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2005 with a degree in teaching.  Prior to that he worked in car sales while wife Anissa was going through Pharmacy School at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.  Josh started teaching in 2005 at Cascade School and taught there for 17 years between the Elementary and High School.

Josh has been married to wife Anissa for 25 years and they have two children together; daughter Morgan Hornberger and husband Brady of Shelbyville and son Caden Hammonds. 

His hobbies include baseball, basketball, hunting, fishing, scuba diving and anything that involves the outdoors.
